TOP 10 WELL PAYING COURSES IN NIGERIA

Well the utmost reason why we suggest furthering our education to the University or Higher institution levels is to succeed and get a paying job after graduation. Normally, if education is all about understanding English and having common sense, I personally wouldn't be in school running helter skelter for BSC at this time because my secondary education should suffice. Most People or let me say 60% of secondary school graduates understands English better than the Americans'. Sorry I'm just kidding.

So back to the topic, today, I'll be listing the top ten (10) paying courses in Nigeria, note in "Nigeria!!," There are some courses that are well paid for and are not underlisted on here but certainly not here in Nigeria. Probably in the UK or USA or other foreign countries, so if you don't find any of the courses you have chosen in jamb or the one you're currently studying in one of the Nigerian University, do not curse me.

Ok here

10. Mass Com, Journalism, Criminology, Marketing Courses:

In developed countries, these courses are highly in demand, but considering the fact that Nigeria is Developing country, therefore there's little or less demand for graduate of these related fields, nonetheless, the listed courses are still good and well paid compare to other courses here in Nigeria.

9. Nursing, Biochemistry, Laboratory Courses.

These courses doesn't really pay much, but there's high demand for it, especially biochemist. In foreign countries, graduate of this courses should have even secure a job before they graduate, because they are important in some field of their economy and research work, United State of America will not joke or risk having their biochemist unemployed, considering the fact that they have to make new things that are scientific related and researches.

8. Law and other LLB courses

These courses was paying better in the 90s until now that there are so many graduated lawyers' in some secondary school teaching and doing some odd jobs, but nevertheless if you want to study any related course in this field you have to be good, extra-ordinary good so you can prove yourself that you're better and worthy. In developed countries, lawyers are well respected, they are occasionally assigned to citizen as an attorney and they get paid even without an office or belonging to a specific organizations or government, but reverse is the case in Nigeria, however, it is still one of the best paying courses you can study.

7. Economics, Statistics, Accounting and Finance courses

These courses doesn't really pay much before , considering the fact the we have very few companies in Nigeria 7 years back, and also considering the fact that graduates of other fields like Agriculture are also competing to be bankers, even though not in Agric banks but the normal banks😂😂, imagine?. But now things are changing, Nigeria is Developing, new industries and new companies are evolving so there come's the need for the graduates of above courses.

6. Mechanical, Electrical, Data Engineering

These courses offer decent pay, infact you'll be stinkingly rich in latest, two years after you graduated provided you secure job in a good company, but in the recent time demand for graduates under these fields have drastically dropped from 80% to 51% due to availability of so many Graduates. Nevertheless it's still one of the best courses you can dream of here in Nigeria.

5. Estate Management, Architecture, Geo-informatics, Q's courses

These courses are practically irrelevant 6 years before now, but recently there have been subsequential demand of graduates on any of the related field of study by Estate firms and land or properties owners. If you accidentally pick any of these courses in your UTME, congratulations in advance because they are not competitive in higher institution and there's a nice job sitting in one corner for you after graduation.

4. Agriculture

This is the course I'm currently studying, 200l , University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria [better by far], I'd write a whole textbook about this course if I want to, but you'll think I am only being sentimental because it is my program of study. Agriculture is fast growing and production is getting more and more important by the day, i know you must be wondering how Agriculture made it to 4th position, and yes, I have answers to clear your doubts. See, if you study agriculture after graduation you'd not have problems, infact you don't need to start running helter skelter looking for high paying Jobs, if you have the capital you can establish a farm, you'd have to hire graduates who have first class in school at the end of the day😂😂😂 to come work for you. I'm sure not everyone will have the capital, but you could do some white collar job and make savings till you get all the capital you need and boom, you're in money. If you think I'm lying Go and ask OBASANJO and DANGOTE.

3. Computer Science ,Computer Engineering, Programming& Geology

I study Agriculture, and I'm a Developer, I made this site and infact the app you're using on Contract with the organisation, I'm Programmer, Analyst and Web expert. I'm running my BSC in Agriculture at the moment and also doing some programming related courses and few  computer science courses online at the same time , and I could boastfully tell you that I'm well paid working for big companies on their sites and fixing some technical issues for them, considering the fact that I don't even study computer science as a course and I don't even have any degree yet, what if I now have those? More money right?. But Aspirants make mistakes, always fighting and aspiring for things that are almost impossible, computer science was my dream course, but dream changes and I went for my other alternative which was agriculture, just ensure that you always have plan B in whatever, for me, I have experience in both courses and in few years I'd obtain certificate for them which means I have two options? Work in Tech companies or Hug my Agriculture tightly or do both yes it is possible.

2. Medicine & Surgery, Pharmacy, Optometry, Dentistry

Regardless of what anyone may think, Doctor's are not always stinkingly rich, it's usually stressful, 6years in University and other negative things, This above listed courses still remain the most marketable in Nigeria. These courses may not pay you as much as the courses occupying my No.1 position but nonetheless it still offer you great employment opportunities immediately you graduate from high Institution with decent pay, enough for family, car, tour, and personal needs.

1. See you, you think I'm just going to type the number one like that, I know you're tired!!!!, Take a break, take a glass cup of water then scroll down to continue

1. Petro-Chemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering

These are the most highly Demanded courses in Nigeria at this time, taking Petro-Chemical Engineering as an example, In Nigeria here, our main source of income and Economic stability depends on Crude Oils, and infact Petro-Chemical Engineering isn't an easy or common course, not all University offer the course anyways, Unilorin, the 3rd best federal University in Nigeria according to NUC ranking doesn't have the course, and so do some other prominently  recognized federal university, therefore Graduates of this courses are relatively scarce which lead to very high in the demand for them. You all will agree with me that Petro is money, if you think I'm lying ask anyone working in Shell Company or NNPC. When I say NNPC not those ones selling Petro to okada people or cars in their filling stations o😂😂😂, i mean their bosses.

That'd be all for now.
