WAEC SET TO RELEASE WASSCE RESULT: CHECK OUT THE DATE

The West African Examinations Council "WAEC" has assured the general public that the result of the recently concluded West African Senior School Certificate Examination "WASSCE" 2018 shall be released within the next 45days (1 month and 15/16 days).

The council’s Head of Public Affairs, Mr. Damianus Ojijeogu, disclosed this while interviewing with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos on Saturday.

Furtherly, it was disclosed that the need technology need to achieve this goal have been deployed to few marketing venue to provide assistance in scanning the scripts, indicating that this process will facilitate the promotion of this script and have positive impact on early release of the results.

He also added that the council shall embark on a technology which will curb, detect and reveal examination malpractices in it's objective questions.

Concerning the conduct of the exam, Mr Ojijeogu said the Council is satisfied with the conduct of the examination noting that it was hitch free.
