JAMB CUT-OFF MARK FOR 2018-2019 ADMISSION UNVEIL
The joint Admission and matriculation board jamb has decided the cut-off mark/point for 2018/2019 admission. The cut off mark was pegged at 120 for Universities and 100 for both polytechnics and monotechnics
This development was revealed during the recently held jamb policy meeting which took place yesterday in osun state.
The jamb Registrar, professor Ishaq Oloyede unveiled every statistical details of how exactly this year jamb was conducted and the coming admission process which are expected to come up any moment onward.
Remember that every institution now have official permission to start the conduction of their post utme test from now on. Candidates are hereby implore to prepare as their journey to higher institution still require some steps ahead.
Please note that jamb pegging it's cut off mark for universities at 120 and Poly/Monotechnics at 100, doesn't mean individual institution will make use these cut-off for their admission qualification criteria. Most universities will accept nothing less than 180 and polytechnics 150. and considering some highly rated course like Medicine, Law, Pharmacy, Mass com, candidate shall certainly be required to have above 200 to qualify for these courses.
According to statistical presentation by Jamb registrar, only 25% of candidate who registered for the exam scored above 200.
