JAMB to release over 1.3million UTME results today.
The Joint Admission And Matriculation Board JAMB have disclosed that over 1.3million result shall be released today Monday 19th, March 2018 after they have undergo the usual procedure of scrutiny to curb off any form of examination malpractices that must have taken place.
The JAMB head of media Dr Fabian Benjamin on Sunday while speaking with punch news correspondence said that the results of candidates who got exposed by CCTV camera during exam have already been cancelled.
The Spokesman said, " presently we are verifying that every centre maintained our examination code of conduct and stay compliant, we'd released the result of over 1.3million candidates that have been screened and found free of examination malpractices. However we can not determine the number of students that engaged in malpractices yet, because we are still carrying out scrutiny and proper investigation through our CCTV camera and some other means, but nonetheless, result of candidates whose fingers were not verified by our biometric thumbprinting technology equipment, will have their results cancelled as well".

" We found out series of unspeakable malpractices through the CCTV camera, in fact we watch cases where cbt centre owners were collecting money from students over the camera , when they got apprehended and questioned over this, we understand that they are trying to assist the students illegally"

"Also, we sent our operatives to the centres and caught them, such utme results for that particular centre are cancelled, we understand that there'd be few innocent students, we ensure those students were moved to another centre to resit for their exam immediately.
“We have also concluded all arrangements to do the UTME for blind candidates. The examination is taking place in five centres. These are Abuja, Lagos, Kano, Benin and Enugu. The candidates are writing on Monday (today),” he said.
If you are yet to see your result continue checking until you do, if your result is not cancelled you should see your results in a moment or next few days.

I haven't seen my result and I can boldly say I didn't get involved in any form of malpractice.. I followed all the laid down rules including thump print in and out..
