What you must not take to Jamb cbt centre for exam

   As part of our non-stop effort to ensure you pass the coming MOCK exam which have been stipulated to hold on the 26 of Feb 2018 and JAMB UTME exam excellently, we have decided to discuss fully what you should and shouldn't take along with you while going to the Cbt centre for your exam, as you know, JAMB takes exam malpractices very seriously and forbid uses of certain material during exam.

The Secretary of JAMB UTME Monitoring Groups, Ngozi Egbuna, stated the items in a memo issued to members of the Civil Society Group on Thursday and obtained by The PUNCH.

The memo reads: “Kindly note that examination officials are allowed to scrutinise eye glasses or similar devices and where convinced that such item may compromise the sanctity of the examination, the examination official should confiscate it.

“Where examination official (board staff or ad hoc staff) or any authorised person is found with any of these prohibited items in the examination hall, such compromising action would be treated as a deliberate act of examination sabotage and necessary sanction will be applied.”

So getting caught with any of these jamb examination forbidden materials can ruin ones entire purpose of exam, as disciplinary actions shall be taken against the culprit immediately.

Here are those things that shouldn't be found with you in the exam hall.

Books, unnecessary documents and past questions
Digital or scientific calculator
Headset
Mobile phones or ear piece
IPod or iPad.
Non medicated or recommended eye glasses
Wristwatch, bags
Chains or wide ear rings.
Biro pencil or any other writing materials,

please take note of the above listed things. have it at the back of your mind that writing materials like pencil, calculator or sharpener shall be provided at the entrance of your exam hall if at all, there's a need for them.

The only thing you need to take to your EXAM centre is your reprinted slip, you're advised to keep a copy of the slip for future reference. Additionally biometric thumbprinting is compulsory for all candidates, you must thumbprint at the venue, and we sincerely admonish you to be at the venue of your exam 30minutes prior to its commencement.
